Ministry of Manpower wins eEconomy & eServices(G2G) Awards


His Highness Sayyid Assad bin Tareq al Said, Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, presented the Sultan Qaboos Award for Excellence in eGovernment-2010 for eEconomy and eService(Government to Government) categories to minister of manpower HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasir Al Bakri at an event at the Shangri La’s Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa’s Heritage Village, on 25th January 2011 .
eService Award is awarded to the government institution providing the highest standard and complete (end-to-end) electronic service, that focuses on improving the performance, standard of living and quality of life. Three sub-categories (G2G, G2B, and G2C) relate to the intended recipient of the eService — Government, Business, and Citizen. Ministry of Manpower won this category for its National Manpower Registration (NMR) services.
eEconomy Award is awarded to the government institution whose services contributed to supporting the national economy. Ministry of Manpower won this category for its Manpower IT enable Service Centers — (Sanad offices)
