MUSCAT — The market is witnessing huge activity after the directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to provide jobs to nationals. In addition to the opportunities provided by the government, the private sector is also giving thousands of jobs. After research, it was found that there are some jobs that receive high demand because they are connected to the different activities of economy, production and services. The sectors which offer jobs include accounting, administration, air transport, construction, medical, engineering, hospitality, information technology, marketing, and oil and gas. The Ministry of Manpower has said that jobs have been made available for as many as 74,917 nationals registered with the ministry in various government departments during February to July this year. As many as 55,835 job aspirants have already been employed including 23,362 in the public sector and 32,473 in the private sector. Additional 19,082 are being recruited in the government sector.
